Behind the Name
Willie J. McCoy was considered a local legend in his community of Hot Springs, Arkansas. His boxing training was undeniable but his passion for guiding the youth in the community through life was paramount. When God called Willie J. McCoy home in January 2019, our leader was gone but the message was heard loud and clear. It starts and ends with our youth.
Behind the Founder
William McCoy started boxing at the early age of 9 years old under the direction of his father Willie J. McCoy. He was known as one of the best young amateur fighters in the state of Arkansas. With over 100 amateur fights, he was a two time State, Regional, and Silver Gloves Champion. He was a Golden Gloves qualifier and was awarded the Most outstanding boxer award at an amateur boxing event. While attending his fathers funeral, he quickly realized how many young lives his father inspired inside and outside the ring. He played such a vital role in teaching the youth how to win in the biggest fight called life. William McCoy wants to share the teaching and skills he has learned from his father with the youth in his community through the sport of BOXING.
